Music Spark

Music Spark is Sage Gateshead’s community music training programme for young people with learning disabilities. We currently work with nine volunteer participants, three of whom have attended previously on work placements from MENCAP National College Dilston, Northern Counties College and Dryden School, and have been employed by Sage Gateshead as Support Musicians. Having completed their training, the Music Spark Volunteers now deliver training to the current cohort of Advanced Trainees, as well as remaining active as community music practitioners!

For more information on the Music Spark Traineeship, starting in September 2018 please e-mail comusica@sagegateshead.com
